Participation is at your own risk. Scarecrows will be out in the elements and unprotected from potential damage or theft. There are no guarantees that items placed on your scarecrow will remain intact. Damage from weather, vandalism or theft is a possibility. Participants will choose a space from the possibilities designated and will be provided a straw bale if needed. By entering, you give permission for the DDA to use photos of your entry in advertising and on social media. At the end of the contest, you are responsible for taking down your scarecrow and disposing of the straw bale.
