Volunteer of the Month: Charlie Mitchell

Congratulations to Charlie Mitchell on his retirement from the City of Dallas.

Charlie Mitchell, pictured here in a photo from the City of Dallas Facebook page, retired from the City at the end of October. In addition to his role with the City, Charlie also served on the DDA Economic Vitality Committee.

Charlie brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the committee. He generously shared ideas, insights, and meaningful strategies that helped support thoughtful planning and downtown development. With his years of Main Street experience, Charlie was a valuable resource to the DDA and to downtown Dallas.

His perspective, service, and commitment will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in retirement.
